Born Ready Fitness is excited to announce their newest addition - B.A.B.Y. Health and Fitness Programs, LLC. B.A.B.Y. ( Birth and Beginning Year) has been offering their wide range of fitness expertise to over 5000 pregnant women and new moms for over 15 years throughout Southern CT, Westchester County and New York City. As a part of Born Ready Fitness, our clients can now have access to The Experts in Pre and Postnatal Fitness.

Statistically, women who exercise during pregnancy experience more comfortable pregnancies, easier labors and quicker postpartum recoveries. According to the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists; “In the absence of contraindications, pregnant women are encouraged to engage in 30 minutes or more of moderate exercise a day”. And, for new moms, once they get clearance from their medical practitioner, they are advised to begin exercising as well. B.A.B.Y. is there to customize a fitness program for women at all stages of their pregnancy as well as postpartum.

B.A.B.Y. has also developed a unique program called the ABC’S of Prenatal Fitness which evolved out of the need to help pregnant, busy women, stay fit outside the exercise class setting. The ABC’S identifies 12 critical exercises that women should practice during their pregnancy and after to achieve the best results. The ABC’S coupled with B.A.B.Y’S diverse pre and postnatal offerings (i.e. indoor and outdoor fitness, yoga, functional training, and After Birth Strength) will guarantee you a complete, holistic approach to optimal health during this special time in a woman’s life.

Services provided include:

  • A one-time consult introducing the ABC'S

  • On-going or Trimester consults to review those exercises
  • most critical as the pregnancy progresses

  • A fitness program for new moms which implements the critical exercises for regaining strength and endurance (both alone and with baby)

Sessions can be on-one- one, or small group settings. Based on the clients needs, sessions can be held in their home, at our personal training studio or outdoors (i.e. Stroller exercise).
